...And Why You Must Stop Ignoring It





Sometimes I feel as though we forget that our only true home on this Earth is the vessel in which we incarnated in. Our body is something that our soul can only separate from after death -- there is no escaping it until then. So why do we refuse to listen to our body when it is screaming out? Why do we sabotage ourselves into doing things that are harmful to our only vessel we get on this Earth? Your body is the most incredible machine in the world. It has the capability to make aware, process, and respond to a wide range of stimuli as well as adapt, function, and thrive in numerous environments. Your body can handle simple tasks or incredibly complex tasks. It is comprised of systems within systems. Every part of your body is intricately woven into place to work together with the other parts of your body in an efficient, ordered, organized manner. It is important that we treat our body as such. Observe people who pridefully take great care of their physical car. There are people that wash and wax their car, keep their car in a garage, and keep up the maintenance; however, will not do the same for their body. You body must be taken care of. You must nurture it, provide proper fuel, maintain it, and protect it against harm. What you put into your body is what you get out. What type of food are you eating? What type of exercise are you doing? How much sleep are you getting? How are you handling your mental health? Do you put your body in situations that are not in its best interest? You govern your body. You decide all these things. Let's become aware of how incredibly important it is to have a good working machine to take us on this journey in life. The only reason your soul is able to participate in this reality is because you have a body present. Show gratitude for the body you are in. Make changes if you are not happy with the state that your current body is in.
